These terms cover your use of RunNerd (the "app" or "service"), provided by Aaron Marr / cowork. By installing or using RunNerd, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
01 What RunNerd does
RunNerd reads your running data from Apple Health (HealthKit), analyzes it with AI-assisted coaching tools, and presents you with summaries, training plans, and feedback. The service is for personal, non-commercial use.
02 Health and exercise disclaimer
Important. RunNerd is a fitness app, not a medical device. Read this section before using the training suggestions.
- Not medical advice. RunNerd provides running analytics, AI-generated coaching insights, and training suggestions for informational and educational purposes only. The app and its content do not constitute medical advice, exercise prescription, or a diagnosis or treatment plan.
- Consult a professional. Consult a physician or qualified healthcare provider before starting or modifying any exercise program — particularly if you have a history of heart disease, high blood pressure, chest pain (during or outside exercise), high cholesterol, obesity, bone or joint problems, or any condition that could be aggravated by physical activity.
- Don't start if advised against it. Do not use RunNerd's training suggestions if your physician advises against the recommended activity level.
- Stop if symptoms occur. If you experience faintness, dizziness, pain, or shortness of breath while exercising, stop immediately and seek medical attention.
- No professional relationship. Use of RunNerd does not create a doctor-patient, coach-client, or any other professional healthcare or athletic-training relationship.
- Individual results vary. Running performance, injury risk, and training adaptation are highly individual. AI-generated coaching suggestions are based on your run data and general training principles and may not account for all personal health or biomechanical factors.
- AI accuracy limitations. RunNerd uses AI to analyze run data and produce coaching content. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. Don't rely solely on RunNerd for managing training around injuries, medical conditions, or rehabilitation protocols.
- Emergency. RunNerd is not designed for emergency use. If you have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.
03 Assumption of risk
Running and other physical activity carry inherent risk of injury. By using RunNerd you acknowledge those risks and accept responsibility for your own training decisions. RunNerd, its operators, and its contributors are not liable for injury, illness, or damage arising from your use of the service.
